Their energy is unusual. They care more, move faster, and raise the pace around them.
We work with the fastest-growing private companies—the ones that hire for traits, not titles.
If your company hires off résumé, you will constantly compete with too many companies for the same candidates. We look where the market isn’t looking—and evaluate what it can’t easily measure.
“It’s built into the system that people get mispriced.”
Résumés are backwards-looking. Traditional interviews are backwards-looking. The system can only measure what someone has already been given permission to do.
So talent gets priced wrong in both directions.
Some people are underpriced. They haven't had the title, the company, or the opportunity yet—but they're capable of operating several levels above where the market values them.
Others are overpriced. They've accumulated the right logos, titles, and credentials—but the market is pricing the opportunities they've already received, not what they're capable of creating next.
A great hire isn't the person with the best résumé.
It's the person whose future value is greatest relative to what the market believes today.
We find the mispricing.
I care less about credentials and more about the behavioral signals that predict extraordinary performance.
Their energy is unusual. They care more, move faster, and raise the pace around them.
They do not wait for permission, perfect information, or someone else to take ownership.
They know the difference between finished and exceptional—and refuse to ship the former.
They absorb context quickly, update their thinking, and get materially better every week.
The slope matters more than the snapshot. Their best work is still ahead of them.
When the obvious path is blocked, they find another one. They figure shit out.
“A résumé tells you what the market has already agreed to value. The opportunity is in what it has not priced yet.”
Famous employers, conventional titles, and perfect tenure are easy to filter for. That means everyone filters for them. We look for the traits the market has not priced yet.

I’ve watched the Mispriced thesis play out across hundreds of hiring decisions: the people with the strongest trajectory are rarely the most obvious on paper.
Every person I send has passed that test. The cap exists so it can stay true.
I cap the work at six placements a month because I want to be extremely intentional and genuinely partner with the founders I work with—deeply, not transactionally. I'm an operator and a former venture-backed founder, and I've been an angel investor in 100+ companies, so you get a recruiter who has seen this story play out hundreds of times.
Fixed fee, $10,000–$15,000 per placement. No percentages and no incentive to inflate a salary. Nothing upfront—you pay when you hire, and if you don't want the person after two months I replace them for free. I'm also open to taking equity.
You don't need another database of résumés. You need a small number of people with the capability, pace, and character to change the trajectory of your company.
Tell me who you're looking for. I'll tell you if I can find them.
